Several comments:
1. I hate Silva and his exuse of hurt ribs
Anderson's trainer tweeted that Anderson will be out until March/April because of the rib injury. How long he'll really be out for or what extent of the injury is the question. I guess its' your opinion if you wanna call it an excuse
2. He knew he was lucky to win that fight
Anyone calling this a lucky win is uneducated or just hatin. Chael has like 10 or 11 losses and like 7 or 8 coming by submission. It's not news to any educated fan that Chael has bad sub defense. (you may be educated but at least you admit you hate him) Anderson set this up all night but just finally caught him at the end. he had wrist control and as Chael postured, he threw the leg over and that was all she wrote. Text book triangle,...........
3. The ref should of let the fight continue and here is why:
While Chael did tap Silva did not let go of his hold. Chael got out himself, it was not the ref who released the hold. Since Silva was being such a jerk for not letting the hold go he should have let the fight go on. I hope they fight again and Chael beats him worse next time. I cant stand Silva and his exuses. Knowing Silva though he will retire or go somewhere else like the coward he is.
riiiiiiight, i got it DVR'd too. And no, Chael did not get himself out. Anderson held on because Chael contested and he wanted to make sure it was over. The triangle was locked in dude, it was tight, no way did he get out on his own.

To the Bruce Lee Avatar comment: Silva did not loosen the hold got it on DVR seen it 3 times now-and if he did he should have just let it go-Silva is the bad sport not Chael! And everything Chael said prefight I agree with. The guy is a clown I mean the way he paraded on his last fight and how he toyed with Griffin is down right disgusting. And the bowing thing is funny!!! Did you all catch Silvan bowing to Chael at the end of the fight: was probably telling Chael: "No rematch please"
I literally LOL'd at "bruce lee avatar"
Chael tapped and was done let's not kid ourselves here,...... He tried to continue and act like he didn't tap. He said after that he didn't remember tapping and that the ref woke him up, is that his excuse for trying to deny he tapped?? i dunno but i won't be quick to judge, i'll give him the benefit of the doubt even though I know Chaels trainer Matt Linland has done that before. Tap once, then complain and continue. He did it against Murilo Bustamante. He got caught in an armbar, tapped once and contested it and denied he tapped. The fight got restarted. Bustamante went on and won by guillotine I believe. OWNED!!! Does he train his guys to do that? I dunno,.......... but I wouldn't exactly be shocked if he did
It's funny you call Silva the jerk and a clown and defend Chael. Did you know he said Lance Armstrong gave himself cancer? Then later denied that statement even though he did make it. He also said getting a black belt from the Nog brothers is like getting a toy from a happy meal. (OWNED for making that comment since he submitted to a guy who got his blackbelt from a happy meal) He also made comments about fighting anderson outside of the cage. Is that good for the sport? if you're gonna bash someone for being bad for the sport, do it all across the board, not just on the ones you hate
and what anderson did to Forrest was nothing short of spectacular. dropping the hands and using head movement, and countering is a tactic that few skilled fighters with good hand speed and accuracy has the talent to do. It throws the opponent off and makes them want to attack which leaves openings. The great Ali, Prince Naseem and Roy Jones Jr (to name some off the top of my head) have done it well in boxing.
He bowed to show respect and to acknowledge that a good fight was put up by his opponent. How can you say Anderson makes excuses when he said himself he makes no excuses and that Chael fought a great fight?
It's clear you're blinded by hate so anything he does, you'll find something negative to say.
i agree about the maia fight,........ he should've and could've finished him

Its funny cause all of you on here rant and rave on how Brock Lesnar is bad for the sport with his comments and antics. Yet no one seems to notice Silva acting like a jerk and making a circus show out of fighters: Things like hiding behind the ref, fighting with arms down, and banging on the canvas -no need for that. Yeah I do hate Silva and just like Fedor someone (if not Chael) will put a hole in his head. (when did anyone put a hole in Fedor's head? either way, fedor and anderson have said themselves that they are only human and they will be beat eventually)
i don't see a lot of ranting and raving about Brock at all. if you're going to say something like that, be prepared to quote it all. you're way over exxagerating or just trolling with that one
some of his past antics IS bad for the sport as well as what Anderson did in the Maia fight
