I'm not sure what I'm going to do just yet. I have a ten gallon up and running with some cherry shrimp in it, I suppose I could tossem in there... I think I'll probably get rid of the parrot though. I don't like how aggressive the male convict is. It's a 6ft tank, and he pretty much owns half of it.

yah my parrot would own the tank to but his tank mate is a 21"ckf ,15"jardiniand 18"tsn
and thats hilarios that the convict bosses around the oscar even

Yeah he using a convict. I'm gonna try with either my trimac or my bonsai flowerhorn but you can use most south and central american cichlids. I would say try a black/pink convict, jellybean parrot, king kong parrot, or a shortbody /bonsai flowerhorn. They seem to pair up with them the most. It also depends on how big your parrot is, it its a larger one then you could try a larger cichlid.

thank you for the tips i am going to try this in the month to come

Sorry but the convict x parrots are not Jellybeans. Jellybean Parrot is just short-bodied pink convict with no parrot blood.

What you have is just simply Convict X Blood Parrot hybrids which won't ended up looks like a "Jellybean" parrot but oversized convict-like fish.

Sorry but your 100% wrong. Jellybean parrots are just shortbodied pink convicts OR dyed blood parrots but not a hybrid of pink convict and blood parrot.

A true con x blood parrot hybrid won't looks like that white "jellybean". Jellybean is just a madeup name that LFS given to shortbodied pink convicts for make a quick buck.
