uggh sorry to hear you lost a fish-maybe his little body will show up somewhere down the road lol.. i have found missing jumpers behind tanks, across rooms under furniture in the past (this has only happened to me twice) and you wonder "How the hell did that fish get all the way over here?" lol
i keep quite a few tanks, but stick to a biweekly 50 percent waterchange and syphon schedule, and have never had any health issues-that tank is quite small and can be done in just a few minutes compared to a massive tank.
