my tank......5ft/2ft/2ft
3xtinfoil barb
4x bala shark
1x spotted silver dollar
1x chocolate cichlid
1x gibbicep
4x pim catfish
1x redtail black shark
2x pleuro
1x obscura
1x senegal birchir...........
wanting to get either a urua cichlid at 13pound's 6inch / or
Chalceus macrolepidotus x 3 at 8pound's each.....what do you guy's think

I'd say neither actually - Chalceus get biggish and other the other stock would be overstocked in my opinion, although with lots of filtration you might manage it! Uaru really are shoaling fish and pine and get when alone so you might find it doesn't settle in at all.

Xyra, is that gar a tropical? It doesn't look like a standard florida.

Just a normal florida i'm afraid!

i was looking at the unidentified cat last week ,, it has one hell of a belly on it ,,it looks like it is holding a permanent meal inside it ,, lol,,

some good fish there chloe in your pictures,

i bought a synodontis featherfin the other week , it looked really dark and unwell in the shop , it seems to have perked up quite well in my tank and is displaying its featherfin like a peacock would his tail ,, also the colour has lightened up considerably and the spots are now more visible ,,
what do you all think ,,excuse the other fish being a bit dosile , they just had the daily feed 15mins before i filmed

Someone I know sold a 8" blue eyed panaque a month or two ago for £800.00. I don't think that £10 is gonna cut it!

Maybe between £1000 - £1600 would be ok for a full grown BEP, but even that might be optimistic! They are a beautiful fish though, you could always offer much lower (not £10 though) and see the reaction and work up from there
