UK St Albans Meet - Sat 9th May

lol its manthrax but as im a woman i still managed to get up do a load of washing, shower myself and child, get us both ready, drive to the fish shop to pick up poly boxes, drive back, catch fish, take to fish shop for their holiday, come home, have my hair cut, make lunch, then sit down for a lemsip while i wait for the electrician.
i couldnt take the tank round to my mates lat night so im guna have to do that once the electrician has gone. then pack my last pieces and tidy ellies room AGAIN!!!

mum told me off yest for not doin my room or els! i had done both and washed some stuff el had put over my bed thro off and hung it over the radiator, so it covered the floor making it look a mess.
ellie must have snuck in to her room while i was in the shower and made it a mess again coz it was disgusting and she had emptied her drawers!
so although i had done it mum didnt see it. BLOODY KID!!!

well i got one day to go till i board that plane and head is still pumping and still generally feel like s***...oh well

oh oh oh....and i think i finally talked my mum in to getting a 6x2x2 im not sure how but i managed to make her believe that it will be cheaper to run.
it could be. im thinkking atm i have 2 4 filters (3HOBS and my 305)
im thinkin would just and fx5 do?
my stock will be cut down by that point so wont need as much filtration as im using now.

yeah i think 1 fx5 would do it. i'm an eheim supporter myself, got 2 2217 canisters on my 6x2x2.

So, went to Swallow Aquatics today, Jasons tracking device registered what i was doing and he rang shortly after i arrived! It's a good shop, not as many monsters on display as there were at St Albans but due to lack of staff they couldn't spare time to take us out back to show us the pit! Of course i went completely back on my 'i'm not buying any fish today' comment and picked myself up a Brachyplatystoma Juruense when they brought it round from out back to show me! Found myself a good supply of suitably sized stock tubs for after i've moved there too.

If you're into ponds and koi, it was amazing for that too.

Oh, and reptiles.

fx5 will be fine, stuff it full with hi grade biomedia and you'll be fine. I've just ordered another 8 litres of eheim Substratpro, which is my fave bio media.

weldone chloe, when are you getting it? yes fx5 should surfice, anyone hear seen the thread one aqauriast classified's.....bloke selling arowana and ARAPAIMA......Thought it was nigh on impossible to get these in the u.k?
