i'd go for one of the target puffers much more active then congo puffers and plenty of aggression to

or mabye a rainbow wolf fish also not the most active fish

May not be the best advice, but I say get what ever fish you want and as they grow out the tank, sell them. What you are doing is finding out what fish is best for you. Thus giving you an idea of the fish that looks and acts right for you. Then you just get the proper tank size and you will be a happy camper:). It worked for me:)

An adult Rainbow Wolf Fish would also outgrow a 30g. Once again I would say a 55g min. for one adult.

butis butis or "crazy fish"
stay small
ambush predator
swim in some very crazy positions

These guys are awesome!!!!!!

South American Leaf Fish are cool. They are not aggressive though, and prefer to ambush prey. My female can eat at least a dozen tuffies at a time when she is hungry. All the Leaf Fish I've had display begging behavior and are intelligent.

if that was my only size tank i had to work with, i would get a pack of exodons. they will shread anything the second it hits the water.
