Elasmos will always be king....followed by cephs. Since they are out, I will say anglers are some of the whimpiest SW fish out there. Open water predatory fish would be next on my list (sails, swords, marlin, tuna etc...).
On a reef, Goliath grouper or any of the large triggers (specifically the Queen trigger). Cuda would be, but they aren't really a threat until they are full size.

I was going to say a big 900lb tuna. But a sailfish or even a marlin in my opinion are alot more impressive. There speed and agility as well as there size makes them a force to be reckoned with. How are you going to catch or get away from the fastest fish in the ocean!
