- Alright, so as soon as I get home ill do a small water change and use prime, thank you very much. Ill wait 24 hr before I add safestart
 
At this point I wouldn't feed these fish anything. Fish that size can go weeks without eating, which will greatly assist in keeping water parameters out of the danger zone, and getting the bio bacteria established.

Agreed, some salt about a cup as I suggested will help relieve the irritation and decrease the potential of Methemoglobinemia (nitrite poisoning) during the nitrification process. If you should have a fish that becomes severely distressed a 30 min bath in methylene blue will help and increase its chance of survival.
