its times like this that i wish i still had a fish tank, friggen sword spine snooks and amaras under a grand, ah dios mio!!
 
Ok, here are a few pictures. I don't have the exact location or river, they come from north part of Brazil, as the fisherman do not want to disclose specific locations.

I only had a dozen, they're still not in good shape, the small ones are dying. No price, no sale yet. Here is one picture for you to see, they've been investigated by several cichla afficianados and they all agree its something different. Feel free to throw out educated guesses, keep it civil, no haters either. No need to email, pm me for one fish for sale etc, in the meantime if they make it through, I'll decide who and when to sell them to, since I only have a few, and depends on if I'm able to get more in the future

I can see the 5faint stripes in them. I have no idea WTH those are, but they look really siiick!!! I will see if I can find a posotive ID...:headbang2
