Um so i have 10 ghost shrimp in my 25 planted tank and the ghost shrimp are going on a killing fest...

Victums

betta
8 neon tetras
1 raphael cat

Why are the killing my fish?

are you sure it's the shrimp? might be other factors...maybe?

I gotta tell you, I reeeeeaaally don't think a pack of ghost shrimp can kill a betta, much less a raphael

no i watched them take down the betta i walked upstairs and it was still alive "spassing" while 5-6 shrimp were on the betta

you can try exodons. They look cooler and would probably do the job faster. You can find some at this website --------> CLICK HERE

Oh they can totally hunt I watch mine do it all the time. I have some in my 125 but the plants are so thick it's hard to tell when fish disappear. Then one day I went and got about 15 neon tetras and threw them in and watched as the ghost shrimp started to stalk them from the plants. They would actually creep up the plant so that they are behind the fish and then slowly hover in the water until close enough to pounce and grab them.

In my 240 gal i dump tons of small mollys in to feed the poly's and ropes only I recently noticed that the damn ghost shrimps in there were the ones eating them! I threw about 30 in last week and me and a few friends sat there and watched all the ghost shrimp hunt them down. by morning only 2 were left!

It's hard to believe but I've seen it...I'm going to get some more molly's this weekend so I'll try and snap some pics of the hunt and post em.

I'm having a very hard time imagining a fish being eaten by a ghost shrimp. Fry, yes. Fish, no.
