umbee help

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
thanks guys for all the help and discussion is enlightening me. does any one know what the name of the smaller umbee is called its like a mini version of the big one i read it on another site on google not long ago and forgot the name

I'm not sure of a "mini" umbee, so if you figure it out let me know. But from my experience and research, both the Panama greens and the Andean umbee's don't grow as large as your classic Rio Mag. Anyone feel free to correct me if this is incorrect.

Are you thinking of Caquetaia Spectabilis?

Sorry i missed this thank you. Don't know how I over read your reply lol was not attentional but thanks again for highlighting again. What is the ideal tank size for these lovely fish would a 5ft do
Think I will wait till I get a umbee no point getting a fish which does not meet you exacly. It's like my green Terrors convicts and jack Dempsey's I was only saying I like JDs and convicts also and my gf bought them I don't enjoy them like my green Terrors but what can I say it's her doing.
I'm going to be getting rid of a lot of tanks soon
Aqua one 130 female Betta tank
200l tank
2x smaller 19-20l tanks

Keeping only the 300l the dude sold me which I worked out to be only 190l or sommin sad I know

I will then purchase a bigger tank for the 2 green Terrors
1x aqua trio for my Betta males I have (don't know why I like these but not shamed to admit it.)
I was thinking of a 2x 5ft rack tank one for GT and bottom one maybe a Oscar or two?
