What exactly is a "Magnum X" from umbeeking? I know its an umbee and I know umbeeking is the member who breeds and sells them. Is it an umbee from a special location or a crossbreed between two different kinds of umbee? Rio mag x gorilus blue maybe?

I'm thinking a pair of those would look good on the 300 I'm supposed to be picking up this week although it will probably be 2-3 months for me to get it cleaned up cycled and ready for fish.

A Magnum-X umbee is a WC lake Guatape male umbee and a WC Rio Mag female umbee. They make a magnum-x. Lake guatape was long referred to as location X before Chris ( umbeeking) released the location of the collected fish. Not a hybrid but a merging of two different locales.

They have spawned several times for me. But with out the divider with a window for her I believe he would have done killed her several times.

And yes I KNOW I need a bigger tank!

We're not here to judge you know what is right by the fish besides I have my fish in a 150 and a 125. I've seen a 24+" umbee in a 150 for life. Not the way I would do it but to each their own.
