nah mate no way!!! my dovii would eat em as a snack :)

i'm just keeping 1 male and its gonna be a solo fish. no sure what size tank i'll get though. if 2 pair up i may consider keeping them and getting another ]V[onster tank for them to breed. still early days though

Those are nice! We seem to have similar taste in fish.I'm also growing some out for a friend and I will be keeping a pair for myself. I'm really glad you started this thread because I was a little worried that mine were not growing fast enough but they have been growing steady. Just wish I could tell the sex.They are 2.5"-3.5" long. Good luck with yours.:)Mike

thanks mate. yeah any fish that gets BIG and BEAUTIFUL is to my taste!!

it's pretty hard too get good photos of them when they are so small but they seem to be colouring up quite nicely. i heard they were slow growers before i bought them and yeah ... it's TRUE :)

got any photo's of yours? i don't mind if you post em on this thread if you've got some.
