thanks for all your comments. it's good to see that there is a few more umbee fans out there

MIKEV - yours are lookin nice mate. i have 2-3 decents sized juvies around 2.75" and the rest are 1.75 - 2".

thought i'd chuck up a couple of dovii pics too for ya. in 1 of the pics it looks like he is howling at the moon (sort of)

Hopefully you'll have better luck than me with this. Out of the 7 I purchased back in January (1"-1.5"), only 1 has exceeded 3" (he/she is ~7"). Keep us updated!

so do you mean that 1 is 7" and the rest are around 4"?

got any pics of your big umbee? would be good to compare with my biggest of the lot

I mean that one is ~7" while all the rest are runts (3" and under). Here's the latest of my largest. This was taken back in early September. He/She has put on some growth since then.

wow he/ she is looking great. lots of freckles. in your opinion, do some of your smaller umbees look like they have more potential than your biggest??

i'm finding that although my big guy/gal is still colourful, there are smaller ones in the tank that have more face freckles and may even look better as they get bigger.

SO HARD TO CHOOSE WHICH ONE TO KEEP WHEN YOU HAVE SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM!!!!!!!!!!
