I got him around July 2009. He came in on a shipment from Columbia and he was too little, too beaten up and too ugly to sell lol. He was about 2.5"

That's incredible growth Dan. What size tank are you keeping him in. He's always been insanely blue in previous picks but the huge head is crazy. What a monster.

You need to call the cops. Someone assaulted your fish! At least his head looks like someone did! My male from you is getting beastly probably a solid 13" now. Have you seen his grand babies? Check out the Rio Mag thread. There are pictures in there of the f2 offspring. Chuck won't mind i guess...
