That is a spectacular little creature..

They're just yanking your chain buddy ;) Some people keep fancy guppies and others will feed them to their predatory fish. I've got frozen rodents in my freezer but I can still appreciate the rodent for what it is.
 
Wow, you're pretty good at training the little critters.

I reserve the lab variety food feeding purposes as I've noticed that they don't seem to tame down as well as the pet variety ones like yours. I have a really nice hooded rat male that was pretty tame that I used as my breeder male before the lab rat females ate him...

The female lab rats ate him? holy smokes, they must be feisty! From your experience, do you think lab rats are more intelligent than fancy rats?

They seem to be more aggressive & less intelligent than the fancy ones, or at least the variety I had seemed that way. The fancy male I had tamed down pretty fast as did his offspring.
 
Are you guys feeding them cheese?
i heard rats and mice are alergic to ccheese and that fruit is much better for them is that true?
