They might not chew but even "litter trained" rats will leave trails of urine everywhere they go. I suppose that I have forced my self to hate rats as a way to cope with being the rat equivalent of Hitler at work.

Not true, when they are juveniles(babies) they might a little. As they get older they stop.
Just make sure you teach them early.

Rat milk is safe for rats, it has not been messed with. Cow milk(cheese, yogurt, and ect) is bad, for rats and humans because of all the crap they put in it these days. Not only that, they feed the cows garbage and that goes straight in the milk.

I moved out of state, and gave him to good family who too have rats. I believe he is ok, I haven't heard from them in a while. But Mikey is retired and old. I hope he will live another year or so.
