fishing licsenses....
ok lemme explain,
im a vet so i get my licsense for free,
but my lil bro went out fishin hes 18 and the cops stoped him and took his pole...
Now i have to points to this,
ppl complain about kids smoking weed and drinking and causing trouble at a young age, but wtf do u expect when they cant even go fishing with out getting harrased and fined????????
or charged $20 for a fiswhing licsense which is crazy i think.(ny its $20)
Now in my mind fish is a people food!!
And i'm pretty sure i have the constitutional right to provide my self and family with food!!!!
so why cant i fish for free???
i can go grab apples for free if i find an apple tree so wtf?!@?!?!?!?

fishing licenses help fund the dnr... i figure if you car about the well being of what so ever you can buck up and pay the 18 dollars (MN) for the year..

there are actually free fishing days which allow people to fish without a license..

unfortunately fisheries that stock those fish aren't free... 'nore is the research ect that is done to insure the survival and habitats... I spend about 20$ a month on bait alone.. let alone my gear, ect... I'm surprized they took your bros pole... I've never had a pole confiscated... ever... 'nore seen it... Is this a NY thing?.. or did your bro get cocky with them?

and no offense.. but if an 18 yr old has an issue paying a 20$ fee for a fishing liscense.. they can't afford drugs... and if those apples are on another property.. you can be persecuted for stealing... at least in WI.. I know someone who was.. lol.. but he took some watermellons, post harvest...

As a fisherman.. I get ticked off with people who don't have liscenses and try taking way more then the legal limit out.. it F**** it up for the rest of us.

Well if you go get apples from a tree on private property then your going to get worse than a fine in some instances.
Fishing license fee help the fisheries departments manage the resource that's there. Without the fees who is going to fund the conservation where your getting these fish from. I would think at 18 he would know that he needed a license to go fishing. Just chalk it up to a lesson learned. Hopefully the rod and reel weren't to expensive.

I am fine with I paid my fresh license ($18) my salt license ($20) and my snook license ($2). If it supports them and research to help better stock the fish, manage them, keep track of how fish species are doing etc. I am ok with that. I like them actually... I agree with the statment about limits.... I don't like people who take fish that are out of regulation/limits.... its even worse when they dont give .02 and dont have a license either. I am ok with paying a fee for my license if it will help out FWC and they bust the idiots who dont care about the fish or the rules (like slot limits/bag limits). Of course I have no idea if that is what the money is used for.. but you pay it once a year so I guess I dont see the big deal and would rather see it put in place. Thats just IMO.

they were they were mine......
bout $120 total...

and even if licsense are applied they should be for ppl 21 and up,
not 18...
How do you figure they should be for people 21 and up. If that's the case I want the licenses to be applied to people 65 and over because they have more free time to go fishing.
You got to pay to play.
