Odyssey products, there Canisters and T5HO fixtures. A lot of people think there just crap but I think they work and perform great for the money.
Cory Cat fish. Those little guys are some of the most active fish you can have if you get atleast 2 together. Not to mention they will work that gravel tirelessly just to get that flake or pellet everyone else missed.

True, but you will see them in more gravel then sand style tanks. I have a group of 4 Emeralds that have gotten Lazy and just chill in the back of the fishtank with the clown loaches. They all love that Giant sword in the back. I see them all in the morning but rest of the day, they are just chilling in the shade.

mines about 3" living w/ cichlids. fast little badass, always flyin around the tank having a good old time. my buddy had one 8 inches w/ cichlids till it took the leap of death.
