Unhealthy green terror

You're kind of setting up a bad situation here. The way things are being done you're picking who's gonna spend the day/night stressed out.
Put a piece of egg crate lighting diffuser in the tank the height and width of the tank.
Separate the 2 green terrors and leave them separate for a month or 2. Let the male put on size.
Let both of them have as little stress as possible. They can still interact through the divider, but no damage can be done.

I am gonna use the glass divider is it ok ? I have the glass but the suction that is used to hold the glass is not coming my LFS shopkeeper is very lazy just playing all the time and he only restocks his tank when all fish are sold/dead.I told him I want a suction cup for divider he said it will come after a week.
Food safe glasses, rocks, driftwood, basically any aquarium decorations that are heavy and stable

My light is flickering sometimes and only 1 mode (red) is working so I was thinking which color light will be best for a green terror these light has one color each red,blue and white.

Red probably would be my last choice, then blue, then white as the best. Reason being gt's have no red, the blue would drown out the subtle blueish dangling, and white would show the best color.
