I was going to use the pure ammonia but i didn't have any.
First off let me say i would never put a fish in a tank i thought was harmful.
I tested the water everyday to monitor the spikes, it went through two algae blooms, so something was happening in there. no matter what i did i couldn't get it to bloom any higher than 25-50 ppm. once i knew it was zero i decided to put my clowns in. (at this moment the water in the new tank was actually lower than in the current tank) i watched them, they loved the new place.
Tested everyday to make sure it didn't spike on me. it never did. just tested it now infact and it's still all zero, even after adding 2 chromis' a flame hawkfish and a condy anemone (lfs said it would be fine under medium light
was abit werry about that) they all seem to be doing 110% condy found a spot, fish seem to be getting along verywell. so far so good.My biggest worrys right now is getting a better heater, the one that came with the tank seems to be unreliable, but will have to do for now. I've been using the house AC at my expence to keep the temp from skyrocketing. Have 3 powerheads schedueled to arrive the 16th aswell.
Would it be best to continue corse or take all the fish out and put them in the nano for afew days and do the pure ammonia cycle?
