eddie, you actually willingly sat thru the two sequels?
first one is the best, I saw the sequel and gave up on them. "go ninja, go ninja go" was painful enough for me to leave and not look back. never bothered wasting my time with part three
first one's only flaw was that technology wasn't like it is today. they couldn't do a proper fight scene with shredder and master splinter because he was a puppet. but this new one did good on it.
in the new one there's plot holes of course, and the pacing was bad in the beginning which affected the whole movie imo. but what you go into a Bay movie is for the special affects and action sequences. Bay also did a good job at capturing the turtles' corkiness, corny punchlines and humor without going overboard. he did a good job with each of their unique personalities. I was pleasantly surprised at their dialogue. not great, but definitely not bad
i'd recommend this movie for tmnt fans, especially if you're gonna movie hop
Actually even through youth the second one was always the best. I LOVE the vanilla ice cameo. Immortalized for life. Its such an improvement in the budget and just a cleaner overall project from 1 to 2. Great cheesy dialogue too, it always felt like their celebratory coming out movie. The third is terrible but the kid hadn't seen it
