The latest skull island kong film is set in the 1970's. I think the only reason for this is that the storyline has troops getting redirected from vietnam on there way home to the US. They have to escort some geologists to this godforsaken island so they can perform "tests". So if anything it was a prequel to the peter jackson movie of 2005 (which is still a way better film than this one by the way).

How can this Vietnam era one be a prequel when the other one took place in the nineteen thirties or forties?

Yeah you're right. Numb nuts me went off the year it was made, not the timescale it was set in!!! I'll go and stick my head in my fish tank, haha.

I read that game of thrones don't come on until summer. And it'll be a short season. There's only like 15 episodes left to split between the last 2 seasons then the show is gonna conclude.

I hope they bring on some prequels. The rise of Khal drogo, the kidnapping of Ned's sister, Robert's rebellion.......things like that would be awesome

He was, but there's always ways around that. Like, he wasn't the last one like previously thought. And he was only a juvenile, which explains the size difference between him and the new kong......something like that
 
Syfy has some weird plans for 12 Monkeys

The plan is to wrap it up in season 4. Season 3 will come out in May.

Starting May 19, Syfy will be doling out all of season three of the show—10 episodes in total—over a three day period. Episodes 1-4 will air on the 19th, 5-7 on the 20th, and then 8-10 on the 21st. The show will then return for final 10 episode season some time in 2018.

The Movie is called Mayhem

Synopsis: A dangerous virus, one that prevents the infected from controlling their inhibitions, is discovered in a corporate law building, the very same firm that recently cleared an infected man on murder charges. The Expanse - has been renewed for a 3rd season. I still have been watching it. It is a complex space show(compared to most). I'd say it's one of syfy's highest quality shows out there.
