the only time i buy fish there is when they have them mis-labeled. I even give the sales people and managers an opprotunity to fix the price after I ID them. i got an orchid dotty back for $20 and a pair of black ocellaris clowns for 25 each. thats cheaper than i could get tham at the shop i worked for with 50% discount. gotta love corporate incompetence.

there's a salvini in our midas tank at the moment.. im still doing training videos so im not working with the fish yet but yeah it does happen a lot lol, we aren't a big enough store for saltwater fish though good deal on the clowns :P

mine is gonna have silver dollars on sale along with lots of ca cichlids, barbs, loaches and most of the tetras are a $1 each. gonna pick up some fillers for my moms(really mine but in her classroom) tank and maybe a pair of clown loaches for my 125 or some big barbs(my petsmart has balas, tinfoils, rosys and lots more)

my experience here with Pet-smart has been positive. I will stop by there after going to Target for my Blue-Ray.

Is your Petsmart beside target too? There are at least 3 Petsmarts in Ohio that are Besides Target or Staples. I think they choose to be beside them or target chooses to be beside them or something like that. Same goes with Staples.

ours is in the same general area, maybe a quarter mile or half mile from each other but in the same shopping center

I'm definitely checking them out this weekend.

Never really understood the hate on Petsmart. I have two within about 30 minutes of me, and both always have a fantastic selection without a hint of ick or hith or anything else.

maybe i'm just fortunate? but i will admit, a couple of their employees don't really know that much, or they only know about certain kinds of fish and are clueless about any other fish or any supplies/equipment.

Maybe they might have a non-common pleco for sale? :naughty:

we've got hi-fins rubberlips and commons
