Thanks for the comments guys. The tank is home to a colony of Geophagus Altifrons (2 big males originally from Joey (R1_rider) and 4 growouts), about 2 dozen Columbian Tetras, a ton of Corydora and Dinema species catfish, some bristlenoses, and miscelaneous small cichlids, like rams, apistos, and a few others.

The wood is Manzanita. I have some of that stuff for sale, about $25 per 4 foot branch. Local only, no shipping.

The tank is just reg. tap, no additives at all. Not even for chlorine removal. Water changes about once a month (or when I am doing some heavy re-scaping).

I think i have some Altifrons too, i bought them as surinamensis but they look like your Geo's tell me what you think... PLEASE. i think out fish have the Exact tails... orange with irradescent spots..

Also how many fish you have in that tank???
