AquataHolic420, yours look like LFS surinamensis. Those are actually not real suris, but most people dont know exactly what they are. Altifrons are not really sold in stores that I know of, Mine came from a WC guy in Florida. The two big ones are from a private party who sold them to the store, and Joey (bastard) picked them up right before i did. I got 'em from him eventually, and have had them for close to a year now.
The lights are 2 JBJ Viper 150W MH. They produce a really nice shimmer on the sand.

Most people overdo this stuff, honestly. I feed sparingly, dont overfeed, have tons of cories and bristlenoses for clean up, and have a 40g sump and a pump that runs 2,400 gallons per hour through the system. Plus there is tons of porous media in the sump. The water is drinkable
And Re: Tap, when you are changing 50 gallons in a 200g system, it's not that big a deal.
