Good Stuff!!

Hey, do you still have the picture of the SRT you shipped to me? I want you to see what he looks like now and I would love to have that pic for comparison!

Sure, man, would love to see an updated photo. Here he was as merely more than a fry, less than a year ago.

Wow... Forgot how small he was. In this post: http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53268 you will see what he looks like now!

It was a night shoot with a digi-cam so quality is not the best but you get the idea! haha

He is the BIGGEST guy in his tank by far now. And his aggressiveness has subsided. He has tough roomates. hehe

Thanks for the Pic my friend!

You got it boss! That's him! I couldn't believe it either...

He is approaching the 14" mark and is as thick as a 1/2 lb. Hamburger. hehe

He didn't redden up much other than his Dorsal and Tail fin but I am very happy with him nonetheless!

I'll be taking some more pics soon so I'll pm you when I post them.

Thanks for a great fish! :) Nice 180 also!!

AquataHolic420, yours look like LFS surinamensis. Those are actually not real suris, but most people dont know exactly what they are. Altifrons are not really sold in stores that I know of, Mine came from a WC guy in Florida. The two big ones are from a private party who sold them to the store, and Joey (bastard) picked them up right before i did. I got 'em from him eventually, and have had them for close to a year now.

Damn, i have no idea what species i have, ive heard so many different names now, i really do have to wait n see...

The wood is manzanita, grows in Mountains of California. Where in Cali are you? If you are local to LA (I am in the Valley) i have 'em available for $25 for a big 4 foot branch. No shipping though.

I am in the Bay Area, a lil too far to pickup.
