hey you should try black sand , this fish look that much better but still a nice one and as ebjds are expensive if u tried a tankmate i would make sure there smaller

Ya i really want to do black sand too. Right now though hes only in a growout till next week then im going to give him a 35 for +the time being and ill put black there.

EBJDs tens to be more fragile than normal JDs. Keep this in mind. Good looking fish though.

Ya i do eventually want to put him with someone but i really want to wait untill hes passed the 3 inch mark so i know its preety safe that hes going to be around for awhile.


Anyone have any ideas on what would be good tankmates for him/her?

He looks fantastic. I'm not sure about tankmates in that size of tank. What about some blue rams...or at least a little gold nugget pleco or a bristlenose?

thankyou! but ya he wont be put with anything for a long time and by then hell be moved into a larger tank.
