Why take any fish out of the water for photographs?

Whatever the fish you are still going to stress them BWB?!?!?!

Even worse with big fish - so much more chance of injury - stress, damage from handling - ridiculous!

At least a 55 gallon should be good for a group of 3+.
 
hw big d they get then? hw rbust are they< i have a small 150 gal planted tank with jus a fire eel in would they be ok in there? wats there max size?
 
Well normally less than 25cm in captivity =]]It should be ok with a F/E

That would depend on the size of the fire eel. If you get a gulper more than one-third the size of the eel, that eel is toast. It would be like a big worm to the gulper.
