Even worse with big fish - so much more chance of injury - stress, damage from handling - ridiculous!

To be brutally honest, there are a lot of people who take their fish out of water for pictures, measurement etc and whilst I'm sure it is stressful, think of the volume of course fishing people do, that fight with a fish with a sharp hook embedded in their face for fun?

There are worse things people can do than handle their fish for pictures. I wouldn't recommend nor do it but if handled correctly, no injury should occur.

Nice Gulper BTW. They always remind me of the dead see fish with big mouths.

No one said anything about this being the worst thing... simply that it's not fair to take your fish out of it's habitat just for the sake of taking a picture...

Most people don't properly handle fish and will sqeeze them or will not wash their hands properly ect... then we get the "something is wrong with my fish" threads and we all go nuckin futs tryin to figure it out when it was because the fish was mis handled to begin with
