Update of 150g Polys Tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
What does the tile do for the tank?
thanks. I don't like sand since it can get into the canisters. Bichirs need a cover bottom to feel at ease. The tile is just there to make them comfortable. There is too much reflection from the floor without tiles. Also, some of the lighting is lost. The light reflect a lot better with the bottom cover.

Some streamlined head shots update. Sorry I have been watching too much Thomas the Trains with the kids. :-)

thanks

yea I agreed with you that is the best looking lap.

thanks. Using iphone6 camera. Dslr is too much work. The 10k temperature bulb make pictures look cleaner

Lucky! your iphone bichir glamour shots look so good. Mine always turn out so blurry with my iphone! That 10k bulb does look really good. guess I will have to upgrade my tank lighting. To be fair, there's only a bulb on one side lol.

How do the fish like the 10k bulbs? Do they get scared when the lights come on?

the 10k lights are really bright. I am only using two 10k bulbs at 14w each.the bichirs prefer the dim led kitchen lights I put in.
