It really is sad that the so called "powers that be" cant use digression with the situation. This is clearly not a threat to the environment, not to mention that he should be grandfathered in.

just goes to show how crappy of sate ny is, insanely high taxes for income and land, and now they prove they are not about the people what so ever, this fish would not survive a single winter, it isnt hurting any native species, or breeding in our native waters so whats the problem, let the guy keep his pet for **** sakes

That really sucks! the guy has to lose his long beloved pet, hopefully they'll work out a plan for a local learning instatute to keep,(alive) and use it as a tool for teaching & learning about the much maligned & misunderstood but neccesary snakehead....
