Thanx for answering all those questions. They eat algae pellets!!! Kool! Thought maybe they'd give you dirty looks if you gave them something like that.

For those of you who have these pikes right now, you can really truely appreciate these pictures!! They are awesome pikes!! 
definitely are, those look just like mine at this stage, minus the HITH. But I can't wait to start seeing them transfor.

Congrats on gettin them BEFORE they got the HITH. They are really prone to it, and get it really easily, so watch your water quality. Definately get some pictures up man. Its crazy, a year ago these were the only ones, now they are gettin rather common...more or less. Just goes to show you good things come to those who wait...

Also, I don't think they are very common at all, mine were the only two I have ever seen in Long Beach for as long as I can remember, so don't trip peanut, they are not a dime a dozen. I love them though, im getting rid of a lot of their tank mates to to watch them grow and give them a tank of their own more or less. Hopefully I have a breeding pair, they never leave each others side.
. I lost ALL my pikes in the move...really sucked. :'(damn peanut, lost all of them. Man, if mine ever breed, you have a few coming your way for free bro. Sorry to hear bout that.
