I've never seen something like that before. Now I'm confused...

Lake cichlids need different water to aros and Bala sharks, don't they? Or don't they mind? Please tell me so I can buy some colourful additions to my tank!

aro's need different water most say 6.5-7.5 ph at most... my aro was in 8.0 and had no problems.... i just sold him off.... the balas dont mind they still play and swim like mad and get spooked easily so i have to becareful or else they may hurt themselves

i just changed the background color and everyone brightened up super awesome!! and their behavior is still mild.... which is good.... the dats have really stabled out! and they look great!!
