Took about 3 minutes of my break at work to look up those regs...no need to get mad at me just because you broke the law. I think its cool someones keeping fish like this, I just don't like the way you went about it.

Why is this about me? I keep several natives, none of them were taken illegally. I can also PROPERLY care for them.

It would be virtually impossible for me to keep a king salmon. They aren't found anywhere in CO (even if they were, it's illegal to transport live fish from the wild here) and there are no hatcheries in the state that have them. On top of that, I don't have the proper facilities to house a something like that. So basically, even if the king salmon was my all time favorite fish that I've always wanted, there would be no way for me to keep one.

Just for the record, "the guide said I could" doesn't mean jack from a legal standpoint....

It sort of does when the collector in question is a minor; from a government standpoint, he technically can't be held 100% responsible for his actions since he's an "impressionable youth."

He did post some pics in another thread, but I wouldnt mind seeing more. And the mods don't seem to patrol the natives section much, I've seen threads here get way more out of hand than this and they weren't locked.
