Update on Rare Wolves

The wolf from Liamiron's is different than the stones aqaurium pic.

The mouth is very abrupt shortened and angular. Intermedius has a rounded face but not so shortened. Reminds me of almost of a Bulldog.

I do have some thoughts is if brasi is rare and unseen. How do the collectors know what they have? Cause it don't fit other fish? Intermedius i can understand but brasi. It's pulling teeth to distinguish one from the other with LL. Being small and brown. I know collection points are the main key but they overlap.

I agree with the bull dog bit, they look like their heads are bigger in proportion to other wolves. I looked at several pics that Ray had of "Intermedius" when I bought mine, some were huge 20+".

QuDodger can u post a pic of ur intermedius. A head shot (close up) to compare and see if all intermedius look like this. I will research more.

Tried to get a picture tonight but he didn't feel like coming out of his cave. When he has his fill of the gold wolves bickering about he goes on his isolation cave I made for him. He does however look similar to the wolf above.

Intermedius are easily spooked/intimidated aren't they?

I had mine in with the Malaguazas and it wouldn't eat or leave the driftwood, seperated it to another tank where it quickly established itself the alpha and started picking on the smaller wolf so it's right back with the Malaguazas cowering in the corner.......
