What do you have your pH at right now? Mine is a ridiculous 8.4 and pretty hard. Sucks. I'm gonna start adding RO and almond leaves to the 300 and 125gal to try and drop it a might. See if that helps with their coloration some.

BTW...there are only a few states where Crenicichla are illegal/restricted. Mississippi is one of them, not really sure about the others. I know that California is alright to keep CRENICICHLA.
