thanks guys i apreciate it.his temperment changes.i guess you can say he has mood swings.his staple diet is cichlid gold,with beef heart every two days.

i also thought his color changed.His favirate food is beefheart.Probaly because it is pure meat,and they are carnivores after all.I buy my beefheart from pet stores in the freezer.

How big is he? He looks alot like my male except yours looks much bigger than mine.

i believe he is 11 or 12 inches.

Since you use beefheart have you tried getting it from a grocery store. Around here it's $1.49 for a pound. Worth the effort if you use enough.

thanks,i dident know that.i paid almost 5 dollers,for less then 1 pound.t comes in a pack with little cubes.

I buy mine at Publix, trim the fat and then slice up and freeze. Better than 5.99 for 8 ounces.
