Looks like they're having a good recovery! Good Job! If I ever get reincarnated as a Sting Ray and abused, I hope you pick me up:D

Ha! This is the cutest comment I have seen in a while. It totally made me laugh out loud and then shout out what you said across the house to Matt, haha. So, thank you. :)

:D

We actually just got our second bottle of this stuff in today, right before the 360, ha. We used half of the first bottle on the hospital tank. :irked:

Do you think the refrigerated Bio-Spira would do a better job? We haven't to find that stuff anywhere! If you think it could work some magic that Turbo Start can't, we'll take some as quick as you can send it. Let's just see if this second bottle of TS can take care of what's going on first..?

Fritz should do the job if need the Bio-Spira just let me know

Will do. We really appreciate it, Mike.

I think the problem with the ammonia levels are you bought 5 6" motoros put them in a 150 stock tank with insuficiant filtration then got fx5. I don't think the tank is cycled yet. That Barron's book Freshwater Stingrays is a great book it has helped me alot. I see that you got a new tank and ordered two stock tanks with viewing windows. I think somone need's a intervention. Have fun with those rays.
Easy Does It

We know we bought them with insufficient filtration, but we bought them late on a Saturday night after all stores except for Wal-Mart were closed. We went straight to Wal-Mart to grab those HOBs after we grabbed those guys.

The ammonia didn't even spike until well after we got the FX5. We've been keeping up on heavy water changes, and we're just doing our very best for them.

What did you mean by 'I think someone needs an intervention'?

glad to see they are looking better, keep up the good work. And again my hats off to you and good luck

good work, hope to see tho rays fully healed in the future, keep it up.

lots and lots of massive water changes will be your best bet.

I would agree, WC, food and salt. Now that the stress has lessoned they should heal just with the better conditions.
They look much better. Good Work

I think he is worried that you and Matt will take the 360 to sleep in and seal your bedroom off and flood with water to house rays:nilly:
