Nice shots!! The Black aro didn't come with the tank, the tank came with the black aro:D

Nice fish!! Get those bad boys on dead food and they'll fatten right up. The aro could stand to have a bit more meat on his bones, but looks fantastic otherwise. The dat is looking nice as well:)

Very true! :headbang2

He has taken the Hikari FD krill and market shrimp so far. This AM he nibbled on some Hikari brine shrimp, but I couldn't tell if he spit it all out or actually ate some. CKs and Endli are the only 3 still being stubborn with dead food.

Thanks also!

the black looks like it's kind of ill? fins are all clamped up :(

the pictures are great

I've been and will continue watching. I do know that he clamps up like that when I am in front of the tank like I was snapping those photos. Usually he is spread out.

Since he is taking market shrimp I would stick with that for now. Stuff it with pellets and you're all set:) It's not common for them to eat so soon after being put into the tank IME, so good job on moving them!

Should I feed the market shrimp daily to him and the others then to get him fat before I start the variety? By unplugging the lights on one side of the tank while feeding I also got the CKs to take the shrimp. Only one left is the Endli who lays around only swimming around occasionally.

Oh and you should see the belly on the Lima, freaking pig I say.

you can do a variety all at once by stuffing the shrimp with random stuff. Once they get used to you they'll eat whatever though, so feed what they'll eat for now. The endli probably eats scraps for now, but I bet he'll come out of his shell.

As far as Limas being pigs...... I know all about it!! LOL

The dat is looking nice and stable. GG is looking good too. I am liking the colors on him.

I am sure that aro is in good hands. If he is taking market shrimp, he will be beefed up in no time.

That is a such a cool tank and stock list to start out with.

Thanks again for the dat, hoping he comes out of his shell some more as well instead of hiding at any movement in front of the tank.

As far as the aro I am hoping for a fatter guy within the next week or so that I can show off. He has taken to the shrimp now that he doesn't "taste" it before actually eating it now, instead it just chomps it down.

Was a great stock to start with indeed. Was glad I was able to jump on the opportunity to pick it up. Now wish me luck on doing my first water change tomorrow since I have these pigs in there and hoping for no jumpers while I clean the sand. Unless I end up waiting for the weekend. Not sure which is best since it was just reset up Saturday morning.
