Thanks again for the dat, hoping he comes out of his shell some more as well instead of hiding at any movement in front of the tank.

Not a problem. The dats were like that in my tank as well until I started leaving the tank light off. For some reason that really helped. I was just using the natural room lighting. They know when the sun goes down, that it's feeding time.
