Super sweet tank! I love the aquascaping!!!
The plants look like young lilly pads, or a smaller species of lilly pads, if they are, then the leaves will end up growing to the surface and laying on top of the water. IF they are regular lilly pads though they will get HUGE. But hopefully they are a dwarf species or something, cause they look good.

Out of couriosity, would you mind shareing the size of your tank in gallons and dimenstion? thanx

Thanks! When I collected the plants the leaves were laying on the waters surface, so they might be some dwarf species of lily pads or something. The tank is a 125 gallon, 70" long x18" wide x 22" tall.

Depending on how long you keep them, your going to need a bigger tank. But the tank sure is awesome though

He could just trim them. I hope my 150g aquascaping will look that good.

Wow man thats great, i having a little problem with my bass (lg) she not eating neither (both of them) when did they start eating for you?

Fishyz, I think he was talking about the bass lol.
jpatz18, my largemouth started eating about 2-3 days after I got it, then my smallmouth wouldnt start eating for about 10 days, maybe more. Sometimes they take awhile to adjust, but I wouldnt worry.
gunther, its pool filter sand, 100lbs of it

ok thanks i will post pics of them but my water not looking the greatest right now, nasty lake water, im trying to make it feel like home as muchas possably. Did you change them to your clean water right awa or did you use lake water then slowly turn it to "tap" clear water?

I just used "clean" water, and they didnt seem to have any problems. The only transition I had to make was feeding it minnows, then krill, and now pellets. My smallmouth still wont touch the pellets though, but the largemouth loves them!
