Ya i caught him at a local lake. At that size they dont really fight much lol, even though I was using a light flyrod, but once they get about 10"+ they fight pretty good. Its neat having both, but they dont get along very well lol.

Thanks for all the comments! Ill post pics as they grow! BTW, does anyone know what kind of plants those are in the second pic? I found them up in the mountains, in a small pond

Just a wild )) guess but looks like some kind of spatterdock

The leaves look similar to spatterdock, but the leaves didnt come out of the water like that. They were flush w/ the surface.
