I love your set up, looks really natural and scenic. however I´m not sure if its the angle, but that knifefish looks like it has a totally different shape to the african knife, which I kept a few years ago.
any chance you could get a better picture? I´m telling you these guys make the best pets, mine would argue with my cichlids at feeding time, he was out all day long. he was a knife fish in Denial. great guys to keep!

I tried yesterday to get a pic but he just stays under his rock all day and waits for food. I think i know what your seeing and i've noticed it too. He sort of elongates his body when he's swimming around and it makes him look a little different.

I was thinking of getting one single medium sized colorful fish for my tank. I feel like my tank is just a little too bland and I need some color to spice it up a little bit. I need some suggestions.

Ya it needs black gravel for the colours to stand out, however the setup is very nice
