Played around with the 300 and added my new plant. What a difference to have a large scale item like that. My wife even commented that now the Weco brand plants on the right side of the tank look too 'neon' green and bright. She liked the scale and color of the Universal Rocks products. These are built for big tanks.

Now I need to do some work on the right side of the tank. Maybe order another large plant from Universal Rocks?

For now I pulled the Weco plants on the right and put in the other plant from Universal Rock. I moved the large wood over a bit and the smaller ons too. But its still just missing something… more rock? That is what I thought so I ordered two more.

There is no gravel, it is CaribSea Peace River Sand
doesnt look like sand to me. thats def gravel stones but small. If its fine its fine. Maybe he or she wont swallow it. I got no experience with it since i only use sand tbh.

Ive raised the fish on this for years and it is a coarse grain sand. According to CaribSea it is a 1.0 to 2.0mm size. Ive never had an issue with this item. Realize too that you are looking at a 20” endli in the picture sitting on the substrate. To me it is sand, not a fine sand but a coarse grain sand. But to go back to your original concern, no they do not ingest this or have any issues.
