Those lower jaws know how to hunt. My little bala could have been eaten by any of the upper jaws I had at the time but it went for over a month with no issue. Then I introduced the endli and koliba and it was gone in like the second night they were in the tank.
A local store will get in big bala but way overcharge for them. So I guess my best bet is to find one that somebody grew out on c-list. Ive seen quite a few available when people are getting out of the hobby and selling their tanks

Nessie the weeksii, while shy when it comes to eating during the day, it does swim around a lot and is visible.
The Faranah Guinea lap. Bad picture angle, makes it look a little short and stub nosed but it is a very sleek poly. Not outgoing but a very impressive fish.
Hard to get all the polys during one photo shoot but its more fun to post a couple pics every couple days.
