He is totally hooked on pellets right now. Loves all pellet foods and just chows on them in a serious way. Since pellets only come during the day, he stays out and about a lot during the day time now. The Nigerian lap is a real pellet hog too!
One of the characteristics i like about ansorgii's.
They are never shy and rarely hide.

Nom Nom looking good. My guess is he'd be less green and towards brown in a red/purple garnet
Ansorgii my friend got 3+ years ago at 15/16". Which i have now is almost 19". Eats tilapia like a fat kid likes cake. Ya, I'd say a this specie is a slow growers.
