No problems with the leporinus and nipping? I like the look of them but I've heard horror stories about their aggression...that's what's scaring me off of leps and black sharks.

He has an occasional spout with the convict but, other than that he's fine. He doesn't pick on any fish that don't bother him. I've heard horror stories about CAEs as well, but no experience proof of it.
Just rinse it out as much as possible, and it should clear by the next day. It might destroy filters if you're not careful.
