All of those things will still be in the room, so it's not like their weight is just disappeared. They still count, regardless of where they are in the room. Just because they weight the approximate weight of a fully setup 55 gallon, doesn't mean a 55 will work. Those items aren't a "concentrated" weight. They're spread out over different areas. In the case of a 55gallon, that 450 some pounds will be concentrated in a 4'x1.5' space. It's like laying on a bed of 500 nails versus laying on 5 nails. 5 nails is going to hurt alot more, because the weight isn't spread out.

Yes as long as you know which way the cross members go you will be safe. Even if your not safe the wood will not just snap like a twig and everything will fall through it will become warped ( bent or slouching) then split but this wont happen for a while. I mean if you can jump on your floor really hard and dont go through your probably safe. Wood is tougher than most people relize.

...Does that BP tank have a filter?

the 2nd pic the dresser will be in teh closet or beside teh closet and the 2 shelfs will be gone and the tv and tv stand will be gone just for the 55.

in the last pic the dresser and teh shelf and 2 tanks are about 350 pounds right there. and the other shelf is about 50 adn the tv and tv stand is about 75. those are all gonna be removed for teh 55 if i can get it
