Thanks for the tip, i didnt have much time to get the shots and everything. but will def try your suggestions for some better pics.
got all 3 to stay still long enough lol. and much to my surprize ive seen 2 of 3 eat pellets! started with some omega 1 cichlid pellets i had left over that where small.. and ran out of guppies tuesday i decided to toss a few in and see. much to my surprize one ate them right away, and one of the others joined in after a few more tossed in. Still getting guppies for them, but good to know they will take pellets if they run out.
Will get some pics up, but the LNG are essentially grown out of the 20h.. lil buggers grow like weeds. the florida is also growing but not as fast. managed to get 1/4 g lass cut for the sump.. siliconed it in today.. so sump take 2 should be up and running in the next few days. the LNgs may end up going straight into the 75.. skipping the 40b .. havent decided exactly what i want to do with tanks yet.
will be nice to see some more pics. my lng have gone right into a 75gal. they are insane! throw yours some food sticks 10:1 they slam them. for some reason all of the lng i have got have just slammed the food sticks right out of the box.
Yeah ive been feeding them 100 rosies a week and offering pellets every night.. they are pigs! the NLS pellets are abit hard yet for them but they are slamming the omega one, they wont touch hikkari lol. they have good taste! gonna try and get some pics tonight, daughters been a handful past few days. and one of the glass panes is to big.. grrr so we need to send it back to get shaved off. But my husband found pot scrubbies at the dollar store so i now have everything for the sump includeing media.
nice. i am shocked they dont go for food sticks....thats the one thing i can get my gars to take first. except my cuban, if it passes its nose it eats it or bites it when it is my hand....the other cuban i had that got eaten was a stubborn s.o.b. and wouldn't you know it as soon as i got it on pellets a florida eats it.......the lng i got for a friend that i and shipping out for on thurday are even taking flakes that i put in for some discus...
Finally! tanks set-up and cycleing... added a penguin 200 and its current residents to the tank to get the cycle established.. these fish will be going into the gars current tank... so the tank swapping has started! lol
